About Us

Counter Harm, founded in 2023, has a vision to ensure we live in a world where individuals affected by mental illness are empowered to lead fulfilling lives free from harm, stigma, and discrimination. We envision a world where everyone has access to high-quality mental health support services, and where communities are educated and equipped to recognize the signs of mental illness and respond with compassion and understanding. Our vision is a world where no one feels alone or hopeless, and where all individuals have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We strive to be a driving force in the prevention of harm related to mental illness, and to foster a culture of empathy, inclusivity, and hope.

Counter Harm is a non-profit organisation that works with people across the United Kingdom to provide support to those experiencing poor mental health. We also provide targeted support to neurodiverse populations to provide much needed post-diagnostic support with the intention being to prevent mental ill-health.
